Blimey, today has been non stop - and I havent even had the kids!!!
Day started in a true birtish summer way - absolutely poured with rain. Why does it always rain at school drop off and pick up times - have the powers that be got some sort of issue with kids?!?!? Anyhows, that meant Mr Mum battling with the blooming buggy rain cover again (my least favourite past time).
Megs was picked up by H early as it was athletics before school and then she was off on a school trip to a wildlife centre so she was pretty excited.
That meant I only had Emma and Rosie to battle with, which is just as well due to the weather conditions. We made it to school, just about, and pretty soaked and successfully got rid of Emma to Pre-School (no tears) and then met up with T as she was looking after Rosie today. We zoomed back to her house just as the heavens opened again, so soaked again.
I left Rosie with T and D and sped home to get ready for an interview I had at 10am. Quickly got the lucky suit on and out again to the interview. Arrived hot bothered and still a bit damp - not the ideal start to an interview, but ho hum. 2.5 hours later and a proper grilling I was out of there and on to the next meet which was over in Egham, so a nice trip on the M25!
Made it to Egham, had the meeting and then it was back home again to pick the kids up from T. T now had all the kids, so just the 6 to look after!! After a lovely traffic jam on the M25 I finally made it back at 5.15 to pick the kids up.
It was then home for tea and bed and a nice cold bud for Mr Mum.
Im afraid not much to report today as the kids were officially outsourced for the day! Ill try better tomorrow for you, sorry Mumsters!
