Yet again, blog is late, so this is a condensed Monday and Tuesday blog from this week = I hope you are all keeping up!
Bloody Monday, it comes around so quick, I think we should be pushing for a 3 day weekend, 2 days just isn't enough. Anyway, Monday again, but at least the sun was shining, so off we went again, another week - groundhog day!! Especially tough this week due to a 40th birthday party on Saturday night followed by a day at Lords watching the cricket with my big brother, sitting in the sunshine drinking pints of pimms!
Took Megs to school, then it was straight off to Jo Jingles (music class) for the other two. Numbers are decreasing at Jo Jingles as the weather gets nicer - so there was only 2 other mums there, but it didn't matter the kids love it! After45 mins of that we had a soft play (Jo jingles is held in a soft play centre, so after the class you get free access to the soft play). the kids went off for a play while I read the paper, everyone was happy!
We then dived back for some lunch and a power nap before back to school to pick Megs up - off again to dancing class, which is always a bit of a rush. Emms is up for first so I packed her off while Megs put her "dancing clothes" on in the car before joining me on the playing field for a kick around. We were joined by K and R today so 2-a-side. this lasted for about 2.5 minutes before a lack of interest brought a halt to the game (me and Megs won!). It was then just a bit of running around and general tom foolery before the bigger kids went in for their lesson.
Now, I had a tricky decision to make - sit with the mumsters and discuss Take That concerts and the merits of seeing Robbie blooming Williams singing at Wembley, or go and have a sensible conversation with some 2 and 3 years olds who were hanging around......well it wasn't a hard decision, so off I went and we managed to set up another game of football with the little ones which was fun, and the conversation was FAR more interesting!
It was soon the end of dancing for Megs, so after a bit of dancing to Waka waka it was time to come home again, tea and bed! although my day carried on with a Governors meeting back at the school.....
Tuesday (hope you are still with me) and yet another interview for Mr Mum - after not having an interview in my life, I have now had about 4 in 3 weeks! So after packing Megs and Emms (no tears) off to school, I off loaded Rosie with T and then headed off for my interview. All went well and should hear more in a day or two. It was then back to T to pick Rosie up. They had been to toddlers group with D so were happy!
By the time I got Rosie back home, it was a quick lunch and nap before back to school to pick Megs and Emms up.
Emms had a "pre school booster" injection after school, so I marched them all into the doctors surgery to see the nurse. Much better than the dodgy medi centre we visited the other week (see previous blog). Emma was a brave little soldier and was very happy with her sticker afterwards!
back home after that for tea, designing a poster for dance school and then bed.
That's me up to date everyone! hope you enjoyed it and lets do it again some time......
